Sandra Dee was one of the biggest movie stars of the 1950s and 1960s whose name has stood the test of time, adored for her roles in Gidget, Imitation of Life, A Summer Place, the "Tammy" films, and many, many more. In 1960 she married the incomparable Bobby Darin, and they quickly became Hollywood's golden couple for much of the 60s.
